HOW TO USE CALLOC AND MALLOC IN SMALL MEMORY MCUs:

This article describes how to use the Malloc and the Calloc in small memory microcontrollers like the MSP430. Unlike many YouTube videos where they show this utility using higher memory chips and PCs, this one, specifically concentrates on using and demonstrating the same on low scale memory MSP430G2xx series. Try out your self and see the difference. You can always do the Malloc, Calloc and Realloc in PC and Larger embedded platforms. This one particularly shows how to use this in microscale MCUs. Hello, this page is designed keeping in mind that you can design and develop your own projects from here. There are several categories and the projects are listed under them. The categories will keep increasing, as I will add on new projects. However, the projects are listed below, one after another. Please note that these projects have been developed totally by me or by Ifabex R&D team and shares no clause of NDA.

Each project contains the following items:

1. The description of the entire project in short
2. The picture of the author’s prototype
3. The complete design (including the .sch, .brd, gerbers in 274X and Excellon drill files wherever possible, BOM of the materials, test reports for specific projects that comply to IP or MIL grades, Application notes and the enclosure GA drawing). Please note that this part is not free and you may purchase this design file package from me. The price is written on the project title, but this is only for non-profit purposes. Also note that I will not sell the design under a technology transfer contract. If you want to purchase the project, you may do it for limited quantities, that will vary from project to project. Choice of payment may be in cash or NEFT. For International purchases, US $ / £ / € are only accepted using PayPal. Else you may also make a SWIFT transfer. However, once the payment is received, we will send you all the details. Also note that you are buying a project and NOT A PRODUCT! So we will only send you the design file and the MCU programmed in 1 quantity. For designs that does not involve the MCU,you can make as many replications of the designs you want. Price excludes shipping. Shipping will vary from place to place.
4. If you do not want to buy the project, it is nothing so serious to worry. You can still download the schematic (.sch in EAGLE CAD) and work your way around to develop the project. However, this is not available for all projects.
5. If you want, we can also send you the designed PCB from the supplied gerber. However, the PCB cost will be extra and has to be added to the entire amount payable at extra cost.
6. Some projects are available as products and you can buy them either as a project or as a complete product!
7. All the projects are tested and verified at our lab before they are put here for sale or distribution. So do not worry about authenticity. IF ANY PROJECT DOES NOT FUNCTION AS DESCRIBED (PROVIDED THE USER MAKES EVERYTHING CORRECTLY), THEN WE WILL REFUND THE ENTIRE AMOUNT PAID, BUT FOR THAT, WE WILL FIRST HAVE TO CHECK THE PROJECT / PRODUCT RETURNED AT OUR LAB.
